Comparing Apostle Paul and Muhammad
Who Are they?
Apostle Paul was a former persecutor of the early disciples. He witnessed Stephen being stoned to death. However, he had a divine encounter when he was on his way to kill the apostles in Damascus (Acts 7:59).
Paul was credited with the authorship of 13 books in the Bible. He was likely beheaded by the Romans, under Emperor Nero, sometime around May or June of 68 A.D. Nero himself died by suicide on June 9th of the same year.
Going on to Muhammad, he was a self acclaimed prophet. He claimed to have an encounter with an Angel called Jubril (meaning Gabriel). The Angel forced him to recite some words by oppressing him – Qur’an 96:1 “Recite in the name of your Lord who made Man from a clinging substance”.
From that event, as a Christian, I know that an Angel of God cannot oppress you when he brings a good news. Oppression comes only from devil. As an evidence, Job was oppressed by the devil (Job 2:5).
Muhammad himself once said, “A true good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 113).
From the verse (Quran 96:1), there is an erroneous saying contrary to what was said in Quran 7:12 – [ Allah ] said, “What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?” [Satan] said, “I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” One verse claimed man was made from mud the other from sperm.
Now, It is a matter of logic, Muhammad tried to get people into his new religion. Therefore, he needs backups, by claiming to have an encounter with an Angel will make people to believe him. Even though, if this event really takes place, the Bible clearly states it in 2 Corinthians 11:14 that “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Devil can go extra mile to deceive his victims. He deceived Adam and Eve, and they lost their home and connection with God.
Christian are not caught unaware
We Christian aren’t ignorant of the devices of the devil, therefore, he hates us. Paul wrote it that even if he, any Angel or any creature whatsoever brings another Gospel contrary to the Gospel of Christ, we should believe him (Galatians 1:8). This proves that Paul isn’t working for himself but for God, through the grace of Christ. Apostle Paul, due to his strong faith in Christ suffered as a martyr.
Come to think of it, if these apostles aren’t sure of what Christ told them, will they suffer as martyrs? Loosing everything they had, even family, wealth, profession, friends, pleasure and even their life. Get out of Sodom and Gomorrah (Islam) and repent today because tomorrow may be too late.
